“Who Is Rescuing Whom and Why? | The Euro – The Banks – The Debt Crisis”
is an animated film for Bertelsmann Foundation. Crossmedia agency LUCID developed the concept and storyboard. It was my task to design a content-related visual concept, to translate individual scenes and themes into icons and images and to incorporate these. The individual visual elements are supposed to appear very simple and neutral and at the same time display as many details as possible. The film is set in various colours using different shades of blue. Icons, proportions and anchor points are lined up along a fixed grid. The white line serves as a thread throughout the entire film and incorporates individual themes and images on a visual and content-related basis.
